I was born and raised in a home where God’s word was taught daily and sound theology was emphasized. I spent my formative years in Los Angeles, California where I ended up meeting my wife, Johanna. Shortly after we were married, the Lord began His work of grace in my heart, and I put my trust in Christ.

My desire to serve the Lord began more than 20 years ago when my pastor called on me to serve God’s people in the local church I was a part of. Soon after, my wife and I were sent to assist in planting a church in the Las Vegas area. I not only loved the work, but I found that I loved the people more. Those two desires have remained constant and were the reason we decided to assist
in the work here in Kansas City, Kansas.

I believe that the Lord has particularly prepared me to preach the Gospel to the lost and to disciple those who have come to saving faith. I have a passion to reach the lost and pointing others to fix their eyes on Jesus and our eternal hope – something I strive to do. I am grateful to
be a part of a church that seeks God’s glory, is faithful to Scripture, and follows the model of the early church (Acts 2:42-47).
